Add some fun decorations to your home with a heart wreath for front door. These options are the prefect way to add a lovely touch any wall or entryway.
A Unique Frame
What’s different about these is the shape of frame. Most options for these decorations come in basic shapes.
Circles are obviously the most common; however, squares are also popular. Those are far from being your only two options though. There are a ton of unique frame shapes, from fruit, to crosses, to letters. There are even ones shaped like horse heads, for the dedicated equestrian.
Of course, for the true romantic, there’s only one appropriate shape. Luckily, there are a lot of frames that come in this shape. And if you’re not into DIY projects, there are plenty of options that are decorated and ready to hang.
Decoration Options
Despite being a non-traditional shape, there are a surprising amount of options for this type of decoration. If your curious about what’s out there, here’s a basic overview of what you can find:
Foliage and Flowers
Naturally, there are a variety of flower and foliage options to choose from.
If you want something more minimal, go for an all foliage option.
With flowers, you can choose an all floral option, or a mix of flowers and foliage. All floral options are the most romantic, which mixed options are a bit more casual.
If you plan to hang your decoration throughout the year, a mixed option is a better choice. If you’re targeting a specific holiday or event, an all floral option makes a bigger statement.
Consider what look you’re going for, and choose accordingly.
Other Bases
If flowers and foliage aren’t for you, there are a few other options to choose from.
For a more rustic, farmhouse aesthetic, a twig option is best. These often come with berries, to provide an extra pop of color. Although, you can also get options that are just twigs and vines, if you prefer a truly rustic look.
You can also go with lights, tinsel, or plastic, if plants just really aren’t for you. Options like these are much better for events or holidays, since they’re cheaper.

Styling Tips
These decorations are a unique choice, so it helps to have some styling suggestions ready to go.
If you want to add a little more drama to your decoration, one option is to hang things from the center. A single large gem, or a row of string lights will help make even a simple option look bold.
All you have to do is attach the item you’re hanging onto the back of the frame. You can also stagger items, for a more interesting look.
Speaking of hanging, these options look great when hung with large ribbon. A plain, 3” ribbon tied to the back is the perfect complement to an all floral option. Tie the ribbon in a bow at the hook or nail it’s hanging from, for some added flair.
If you want to add a bow or other large embellishment to the decoration itself, placement needs to be carefully considered. One issue with the shape is that it can get lost easily if you cover up the dip in the middle. That’s why an off-center placement is best.
To that end, larger embellishments look best when off to one side, at the top. You can also hang them directly from the bottom, for a more elegant touch.
These decorations also look great when they’re allowed to shine on their own. However, doing sets of three wreaths or more is also a cute look.
If you’re using multiplies, use small ones, or use larger ones sparingly. You don’t want to crowd a space with too many, total, or too many in one spot.
Hanging Tips
One downside to unique frames is that they can be tricky to hang.
With an option like this one, your best bet is two nails or hooks. These should be centered at the top of each peak. With that, you’ll have the best hold, and it will also be easier to keep it level.
An easier option is just to hang the decoration from the dip in the center. You can easily disguise a hook or nail behind the frame, and secure the decoration there. By using the dip, you’re balancing the weight of the decoration and keeping it level as well.
If you want to use a decorative ribbon to hang, feel free to add that on! As long as the hooks or nails are hidden in the frame, no one will be able to tell the difference.
A Cute and Cool Option
What’s most fun about this shape is how different it is. It’s unexpected, and provides some nice symbolism.
There are also a ton of options to choose from, and so many different ways to style them. If you have an event, or if you just want something casual for every day, there’s an option to match.
So if you want something cute and cool for your entryway, consider a heart wreath for front door decoration.
